DESCRIPTION:MOXIE (Member Owners eXchange Information & Experience) Plus is a group of member business Owners/Presidents who meet monthly with Greg Thompson\, ActionCoach\, to discuss issues impacting their businesses. All member Business Owners/Presidents are invited to participate.  Everyone must sign a confidentiality clause.  Business Owners of businesses in business for 3-years or less must participate in Strategic Startup from Chaos to Control prior to participation in MOXIE Plus.  Contact Chamber staff for details of this free program.\n\n \n\nSeptember Educational Topic - Hiring Option\n\nToday\, many older Americans are looking for employment to help make ends meet. The Senior Community Service Employment Program (SCSEP) is the only federal program targeted to help older workers. Each year\, SCSEP enables thousands of low-income seniors to earn and learn while working in local programs serving their community and earning job training skills.\n\n\n\n The Senior Community Employment Services Program is a 4 year job training program through the department of labor. Our partners in Iowa are drawn from aging services\, workforce development\, and other networks who work closely with local employers\, social services\, and community organizations.\n\n\n\nCome learn more during this month's MOXIE!\n\n\n\nTime: 8-10 am \n\nLocation: RODAN Board Room\, Urbandale Chamber of Commerce\n\nCost: Included in membership\, but RSVP's are requested.
