Ignite Chiropractic

Dr. Adam Ries was born and raised in Hopkinton, Iowa, and was introduced to chiropractic as a child, an experience that shaped how he understands what great care can do for a person's life. He earned his doctorate at Palmer College of Chiropractic - Davenport.

Since graduating, Dr. Adam has cared for patients across Iowa and has practiced in the Des Moines area since 2016, and he is passionate about helping patients break through the barriers that have kept them from living the way they want.

Outside the office, Dr. Adam leads the same lifestyle he encourages for his patients. He is an avid runner with several half marathons under his belt, and he enjoys experimenting with new recipes and spending time outdoors with his backyard chickens. He is an active member and volunteer at Lutheran Church of Hope, and he has served in leadership roles with YPIowa, WestYP, and the West Des Moines Kiwanis Club.

Dr. Megan Ries grew up in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and earned her doctorate at Palmer College of Chiropractic - Davenport. She has since trained through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association in pregnancy and pediatric care, and she holds a Perinatal Certification representing additional hours of advanced training in prenatal and postpartum care.

Since graduating in 2013, she has cared for patients across Iowa and has practiced in the Des Moines area since 2016, and she loves walking alongside patients as they work toward a more active, healthy life.

Outside the office, Dr. Megan enjoys reading, staying active outdoors, and her two cats. She is an active member of Lutheran Church of Hope, has volunteered with Girls on the Run, and has held leadership roles with genYP, Greater Des Moines Toastmasters, and the Urbandale Chamber of Commerce. In 2017 she was named an Outstanding New Iowa Chiropractic Society Member.
