Join us as we spend the morning learning from each other and our special guest speaker. \nJan Rozga is a local author from Indianola. On June 6\, 2010\, her 18-year-old son David died tragically after smoking a synthetic drug called K2\, just one week after receiving his high school diploma. Jan shares her story of hope in the wake of grief and loss in her new book\, Raw Survival\; A Practical Guide to Living through Loss. Jan regularly shares her story of raw survival on her blog and has written articles published in Simply Good magazine.\n\n\nAbout the Speakers:\n\nJan Rozga is a speaker with Stonecroft Ministries\, sharing her survival story with women across the Midwest. She and husband\, Mike\, facilitate GriefShare support groups and were named Advocates for Action by the White House Office of National Drug Control Policy for working to get the David Mitchell Rozga Act signed into law. Her passion to proclaim the healing power of Jesus and to raise awareness of the dangers of synthetic drugs is ongoing.\n\nDan Rozga will be interviewing Jan. Dan attended Trinity International University in Deerfield\, Illinois\, and graduated with a bachelor's degree in Biblical Studies in 2017. He is a Real Estate Agent\, serving Central Iowa\, with RE/MAX Concepts. These conversations will be followed up with a confirmation email.
