As a volunteer for the Urbandale Republicans, I'm here to promote our core principles and purpose: "Advancing the principles of Liberty at the precinct level through the effective use of communication, organization, and influence". Some of the community service we offer include: register new residents as Urbandale Republicans, speak to groups about founding principles of Liberty, organize the Read the Declaration Ceremony at Lion's Park on Independence Day, organize the Republican Caucuses every two years, invite Urbandale Republican citizens to political events, encourage Urbandale Republican citizens to be informed voters.

I’ve been a Head Hunter since 2015 and love it! Lisa is the Projector Coordinator at Iowa Sign Company. She graduated from Grand View University in 2009 with a B.A. in Graphic Design/Journalism. Before Grand View, she had 9 years experience in Sales & Marketing in the hotel industry. She is married to Timothy Hanrahan whom they share two children, Cailin (age 19) and Adilia (age 9) and resides in Des Moines. She serves on the Board of Directors for the Johnston Chamber of Commerce. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with family, exercising, traveling, photography and designing. To keep her creative juices flowing, she does freelance design and photography. 

Mike is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ with AO Wealth Advisory. His passion is to help others identify and attain their financial objectives by walking with them along their unique journey. He especially enjoys the process of helping clients go from a place of anxiety and confusion about their finances to a place of peace and understanding.

Matt Nuetzman served on the Urbandale Chamber Board from 2012-2017 and was the 2016 Board Chair. In 2011, Matt helped launch the genYP Program and later served as genYP Chairperson, and has volunteered and led many Chamber programs since first joining in 2009. Matt is a Strategic Business Consultant at Paychex HR, a Human Resources services provider which the Urbandale Chamber offers a PEO Partner Program with. Matt is also a member of the Business Record's Forty Under 40 (2012), and he and his wife Sheena live in Urbandale with their 2 children.

I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering Operations from Iowa State University. I have many years' experience working on senior management teams of companies to help make them more profitable and stronger companies. This is my passion and I will use it to serve you as a connector & Total Resource Campaign

Why did I join the Chamber under berniestone.com?  The website gives a bit more background on the work I do via Strategic Scouts Consulting LLC, Strategery Holdings LLC, and my volunteer work for Bunker Labs.

My responsibilities include executing financial plans and assisting clients. I also help clients create personal and business budgets focused on achieving their financial goals.

Twenty years ago Ben Buenzow got his insurance license, and the rest is history…. Just kidding! A lot has happened in the last 20 years! Seventeen of those years Ben owned a captive insurance agency, while simultaneously becoming an expert in his field, and being recognized for his achievements along the way. Ben integrated himself into the Urbandale community serving on the Urbandale Chamber Board, and volunteering with the Urbandale Police Department. Six kids and a puppy later.  Ben realized the potential to help even more people! So in May 2021 Ben launched his own independent agency Buenzow Insurance Group.

I started Teacher Wealth, a fee-only financial planning firm, in order to help educators with their finances.  As a former high school teacher myself, I know that teachers and other school employees are often ignored by the financial advisor industry.  So it is my mission to be a force of change and improve that reality.

I am the owner and principal cybersecurity consultant for Secure Point Solutions in Central Iowa. With 13 years in the Navy operating on both surface ships and submarines as a Sonar Analyst, I have had an unusual transition from military to civilian; from physical security to selling cars, I ultimately found opportunities to learn Information Technology while working overseas. I began a series of positions with increasing responsibility working with the state lottery and technology giants like Microsoft and Hewlett-Packard. I have spent the last 6 years supporting small businesses as part of a managed service provider and now running my own security company. I hold certifications from CompTIA and (ISC)2 in areas of cybersecurity. I am married to an amazing woman and together raising 4 children and 3 dogs for the imminent zombie apocalypse.
