Caregiver / Home Health Aide – Right at Home, In-Home Care & Assistance

Location: Des Moines and surrounding areas
Position Type: Part-Time/Full-Time 
Pay: $17–$20 per hour

Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care and assistance with daily living activities, including:

• Personal hygiene (bathing, grooming, oral care, toileting assistance)

• Mobility and transfers

• Meal preparation and feeding assistance

• Dressing and light personal care

• Companionship and conversation

Additional duties may include:

• Housekeeping (vacuuming, dusting, mopping, dishes, laundry, changing linens)

• Running errands and accompanying clients to appointments

• Medication reminders

• Assisting with prescribed range of motion exercises

• Supporting clients with dementia or incontinence care

• Measuring and preparing special diets as instructed

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED

• No experience required – we provide training!

• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English

• Valid driver’s license and reliable, insured transportation
