About Us

Since its inception in 1953, Link Associates has affected the lives of hundreds, by providing support and services to individuals and their family members.

Over the years, Link Associates has evolved and grown, presently serving over 1,200 individuals and their families. Although there are other organizations in Des Moines that serve individuals with intellectual disabilities, Link Associates is the only organization that provides a full range of services for consumers. When combined, services meet the full spectrum of an individuals needs as well as their family members.

Link's ''Ready, Willing and Able'' consumers offer a variety of employment services to local businesses in order to help them achieve their mission and goals, while helping clients achieve a more self-sufficient, rewarding life through employment. Three employment services (Supported Employment, Mobile Crew, and Work Services) are able to complete any employment need for a business.
