In the Social Security/Disability Paralegal role, you will draft and edit legal documents, correspond with clients as needed, and format briefs, pleadings, and other legal documents. You will also manage the medical records process, including requesting, reviewing, indexing, and summarizing records and filing legal documents (e-file). Work model:

  • 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
What you will do:
  • Oversee all pre-litigation case phases, including client treatment, and communication with clients and adjusters
  • Conduct initial client intakes to gather pertinent case information
  • Maintain organized case files, ensuring all documentation is current and readily accessible
  • Prepare and review legal correspondence, and draft and send demand packages and other communications to adjusters under the attorney's direction
  • Communicate with clients daily to guide them through the case process
  • Collaborate with attorneys and the pre-litigation team to develop case strategies and provide support during negotiations
  • Schedule appointments and phone calls
What you will need to be successful:
  • 1-3 years' experience in a legal setting with a focus on pre-litigation case management
  • Strong attention to detail in managing case files and documentation
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced and collaborative environment

Position Type: Full-Time

Salary Range: $50,000-$100,000
